Summer fun

We are attempting a bee beard show on selected days throughout the summer, check back for dates or check the Facebook page.
I say ‘attempting’ as sometimes the bees don’t do as they are told and we get stung! We now have a successes and failures chart on the wall, and we are hoping to get more successes than stings this summer. If the show doesn’t happen because of too many stings then there will be a beekeeper talk and some time to ask questions.
Every day in the summer  we are offering Guided tours of BeeWorld, Daily tasks, Candle rolling, honey tasting sessions and Critter encounters!
NEW FOR 2016 – we are holding beekeeping demos!
When the sun is shining there is more chance of seeing the bees fly and perhaps a bee beard show if you’re lucky!
